The Directors of Top Level Domain Holdings (“TLDH” or the “Company”; AIM: TLDH) are pleased to announce that the Company has today conditionally placed up to 73,996,908 new ordinary shares (the “Ordinary Shares”) at a placing price of 6.5p per Ordinary Share (the “Placing Price”) to raise up to £4,809,799 million before expenses (equivalent to approximately US$7,479,237 million at current exchange rates) subject to admission (the “Placing”). Proposed Placing

The Board of Top Level Domain Holdings (“TLDH” or the “Company”) is excited about the prospects for the Company now that the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (“ICANN”) has approved the timeline for the introduction of new generic top level domains (“gTLDs”). As previously announced the Board of ICANN resolved on 28 October 2010 to direct its staff to prepare for the introduction of new gTLDs, with the window for applications to start on 30 May 2011. According to the ICANN Board’s resolution, the final rules for applicants for new gTLDs will be set by 10 January 2011, which will also be the starting point for a major public relations exercise by ICANN to publicise the proposed gTLD programme in order to attract qualified gTLD applicants. Exercise of Options and Total Voting Rights

TLDH today announced that 200,000 new ordinary shares have been issued following the exercise, by a former consultant to the Company, of 200,000 options at 4p per share.

The new shares will rank, pari passu, with all existing ordinary shares. Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and admission is expected to take place on 23 November 2010. The total number of ordinary shares in issue with voting rights following the exercise of these options will be 284,339,275. (more…)

The Board of Directors of Top Level Domain Holdings Ltd (AIM: TLDH.L) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Antony Van Couvering, formerly Chief Operating Officer of TLDH, as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Van Couvering is also chief executive of TLDH’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Minds + Machines, LLC. Fred Krueger will continue as Chairman of TLDH.

TLDH has also appointed Caspar von Veltheim, the current chief executive of Minds + Machines Germany, as Director of European Operations (non-board appointment). (more…)

Top Level Domain Holdings, Ltd (AIM: TLDH.L), the only public company focused exclusively on acquiring and operating new top-level domains, is pleased to announce that the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (“ICANN”) has approved the timeline for the introduction of new generic top level domains (“gTLDs”).

The Board of ICANN resolved on 28 October 28 2010, to direct its staff to prepare for the introduction of new gTLDs, with the window for applications to start on 30 May 30 2011.

Fred Krueger, CEO of TLDH, commented: “The ICANN Board decision is a significant milestone. Until now, ICANN has avoided providing exact dates while it resolved several longstanding policy issues. The publication of a timeline therefore signals ICANN’s determination that the major issues have been addressed and that the new gTLD programme can proceed without further delays.” (more…)
